Enjoy...

Close your eyes please. Just for a while. Now, open…

Isn’t it lovely here? The town is far far away, and no one can reach us. The first touches of the sun, which has not still woken up, but which beams are already warm and bright, revive the sleepy nature of the countryside.  Stop, please, do not rush. Enjoy this morning. Inhale the fresh air with the trace of blossoming flowers, and warm intoxicating scent of the grass from the meadow. Allow light morning breeze gently wake you up from the fuss of the city. And now, sit in the garden, make a sip of lovely rich strong coffee, and listen… Do you hear it? Exactly. Nothing. Just silence… Calm tranquil silence that makes you desire to become part of it. And you dissolve, slowly, with delight.

Just birds are twitting time to time, reminding that there is still live on this silent island of peace of mind.

...

“Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.”

“All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think we become.”

“Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without.”

“To understand everything is to forgive everything”

“A dog is not considered a good dog because he is a good barker. A man is not considered a good man because he is a good talker.”

“Have compassion for all beings, rich and poor alike; each has their suffering. Some suffer too much, others too little.”

“To be idle is a short road to death and to be diligent is a way of life; foolish people are idle, wise people are diligent.”

“To conquer oneself is a greater task than conquering others”

“All things appear and disappear because of the concurrence of causes and conditions. Nothing ever exists entirely alone; everything is in relation to everything else.”

“Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.”

“I do not believe in a fate that falls on men however they act; but I do believe in a fate that falls on them unless they act.”

“In a controversy the instant we feel anger we have already ceased striving for the truth, and have begun striving for ourselves.”

“In the sky, there is no distinction of east and west; people create distinctions out of their own minds and then beleive them to be true.

Continuous fight... Happiness? Definetely!

Life… Unpredictable, mysterious, surprising, astonishing… One day you wake up with incredible plans for your future. Next morning, you are broke, miserable, and your life does not make sense anymore. You need to struggle, create new goals again, again and again. At the end, you have chances to greet morning with the smile on your face. Amazing? Maybe… But anyway, the life is worth this fight!

The day before the new life

Yesterday he told her that they need to break up… Tomorrow she will leave him and fly away… Now the warm light of candles illuminates the small room; in cosy silence, they are taking a bath and drinking champagne, without words, without worries…

New Life

Our life is a continuous flow – we are going with the stream and suppose that we are the same persons as 2 or 3 years ago. But a sudden obstacle on the "river of life" makes us stop for a moment and look back. Starting from this point we are already not the same. We’ve changed. We open our eyes, look around and realize that the colours of OUR life have gained a new shade, and our tranquil stream has changed its direction.

Spring feathers

Today is 29 March. The wind is blowing and the little snowflakes are dancing in the sky. The spring snowflakes differ from the winter. They remind me the feathers – so white, light and fluffy. It’s seems like someone has torn a pillow somewhere in the sky, and now, these little icy feathers are whirling in a dance of wind.

We are so foolish

Sometimes people don’t understand how happy they are! They eat their pain and repeat in their heads again and again the worst things that had happened with them. They complain that they don’t have anything, only because they don’t have everything.

Why we do so? Why we just cannot be grateful for the things that we have? Why we just cannot be grateful for life that was granted to us? Why we make our lives so complicated?

My friend had recently retailed me the conversation that she had heard in the bus. It was between the little boy and his mother. He told her: ‘I have a father, a mother, two grandmothers, and a grandfather. I am so rich…’
